Kitchen Island Update
A few months ago I stumbled on some wood brackets at the Restore. Funny thing is they were wrapped together with masking tape and on the masking tape in black sharpie it read : three brackets for three bucks imagine the possibilities. I could imagine tons of possibilities and so I bought them. Isn't it odd that someone wrote that? It made me laugh. When I saw them I immediately thought of my kitchen island. I built my kitchen island back in December out of a salvaged door. It has worked out great for us but I knew I wanted to add some brackets eventually to finish it off.
The brackets are pretty simple and turned out to be the perfect size for the tiny overhang of the counter. I love it when that happens.
