Re-Purpose a Door into a Hall Tree & More
Well it seems my obsession with doors continues. I have had this door for almost a year and finally got around to doing something with it.
I started with a door that was missing the middle panel. (I forgot to take the before photo until after adding the crown) With a little crown, bead board and a shelf I think she cleaned up really nice. Perfect for a small entryway.
The Oil Rubbed Bronze hooks are from Lowes.
The decorative half "legs" were found at a salvage store awhile back. They worked perfect for this project.
Now for the more part.
The other day I was chatting with my friend
Katie of
Creatively Living Outside the Box
and she mentioned she was working on a door project as well. We thought it would be fun to share our projects together. If you haven't discovered Katie's blog yet you are in for a treat. Her blog is all about
home renovations, decorating and her love for turning what most would see as trash into a treasure. She is crazy creative and can turn anything into beautiful decor for her home.
Here's what Katie came up with.
She also started with a single panel style door.
I love how her Chalkboard turned out! Since I know we all love a good door re-purpose here's a few more of Katie's fabulous projects. Click the title link to be taken to the posts.
